The Uptown Maple Commons main floor dining room is also open for enjoying a mid-day meal, and where the public can access the program as well. Maple Commons is at 38790 Sixth Avenue in North Branch, just east of County Hwy. 30. Hundreds of frozen meals are also sent out of the kitchen, which Catholic Charities uses for meal prep at no charge. To enroll in Meals on Wheels delivery or reserve a spot in the dining room Monday through Friday, contact Lisa at Catholic Charities 651-674-1956. The Chisago County Press publishes the dining site menu each month. It doesn’t matter if your need is temporary while recovering from a medical setback or if you will use the program consistently each week-- you are welcome to ask about the service. The dining program gets funding from the Central MN Council on Aging (Older Americans Act), along with the United Way, local donors who support the effort and participant contribution.
