Reported May 1 the dumping of a large quantity of construction debris at another construction site, at the new Don Julios, in Chisago City. If anybody has information about the perpetrators dumping the materials contact Lakes Area Police. May 1 a cabin break-in reported in Nessel Township. Loss includes binoculars, collection of glassware with pheasant decoration, and 15 “Shakespeare” rods and reels.
April 29 a pontoon boat tipped off its trailer at Highway 8 and Green Lake Trail about 7:30 p.m while driver negotiated a turn. Tow truck was called to restore boat atop trailer.
Complaint to police about a car hauler parked on a Chisago City street. Authorities remind readers there’s not to be any vehicle over 9,000 pounds parked on city streets between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m.
April 28 burned food started a fire run to a home on Fairway Lane in Chisago City about 5:15 p.m. Firefighters ventilated the residence and there was no fire damage.
April 27 a car fire at Rushseba Trail reported about 6 p.m. Rush City firefighters responded. Stacy-Lent department was dispatched to a car fire at the Kwik Trip about 9 p.m.
