Saturday was a special day in Lindstrom. Pumphouse Park where many of us grew up playing baseball was recently renovated. The Minnesota Twins Community Fund donated money towards a new fence, infield, and warning track.

  Hundreds of residents were greeted by Twins mascot TC Bear and Twins Senior Scout Mark Wilson.  Wilson grew up three blocks from the field and spent many summer days on the old field.  

 Fans were treated to Keith Carlson’s rendition of “Take me out to the ball park” and two Chisago Lakes traveling teams played a game to cap off the afternoon.
