A couple of tickets were written over last week as water patrol/landing inspectors start to issue more than just a warning. Boaters can be cited for having drain plugs still in place while entering the lake. You are not to move a boat from a public access to another location with the plug holding any water that may then transport invasives.
May 22 ticket issued for taking a bass out of season.
The Lakes Area Police wrote a ticket to a high school student for marijuana possession at school and also administered a breath test to a student suspected of being under the influence, which the student failed and parents were called.
Theft of mail reported to sheriff’s investigator from mailbox on Vibo Trail, Chisago Lake Township.
