The area law enforcement agencies participated in traffic law enforcement saturation last week. You would have noticed a presence of squads on Highway 8 especially.  The saturations are made possible by outside funding for overtime and mutual aid to local departments.

October 28 the sheriff patrol assisted Wyoming Police in a home burglary incident, in the Everton Circle area, reported about 9:30 p.m.  The K9 unit was deployed to locate possible suspects.

The storage units in Shafer were the scene of multiple break-in reports Oct 28. Forced entry made with boltcutters.  Items missing are being inventoried.

A semi trailer truck driver trying to make a turn, October 26 about 6 a.m. inside the pothole park lot damaged a light pole and a portion of the traprock retaining wall.  The Taylors Falls sheriff’s patrol has been involved in the matter and the state park manager has information.  Damages were estimated around $5,000.

North Branch Police got a residential burglary report  on Cedar St. October 26.

Two cement gargoyles stolen from an address on Ivywood Trail, reported Oct. 24.  The items have people’s names scratched in the base if you come across the items.
