Lakes Area Police assisted November 7 for a domestic disturbance call that began as a medical dispatch.  The EMS had been sent to a home on Busch Avenue in Center City about 11:30 p.m. and emergency responders reported to dispatch there may be a firearm involved. When the sheriff patrol deputy arrived, Lakes Area cleared and the scene was secured.

Nov. 7 a found ring was turned in at Lakes Area Police offices in Lindstrom City Hall. Call to claim. The ring was discovered on the city hall parking lot.

Sheriff’s patrol took in a man Nov. 7 who was reported roaming around in the Ferris Trail area, for a 72 hour hold. He was unfed and had blistered feet. A relative ultimately contacted, advised he was homeless and also had health conditions.

Nov. 7 North Branch officers located a vehicle in their jurisdiction reportedly involved in a hit and run in Center City. Suspect cited and vehicle impounded.

Lakes Area officers took a couple of burning complaints...you are advised to check with your city clerk to see if burning is allowed.  (It is not allowed in Lindstrom.) Most cities have compost sites for leaf and vegetation disposal.

A trailer was reported stolen from an addess in Lindstrom on Montclair. It is black,  about 5 by 8 feet in size and had wood sides.

November 8 theft of construction items reported from a site on Elmcrest Ave. in Fish Lake Twsp.   Includes a skidsteer missing.

Shafer Storage Units had a burglary, but the unit renter could only estimate it happened in last two weeks. Also, Rush City Mini-Storage unit renter reported a portable fish shack was missing, lock had been cut.

November 10 North Branch Police responded to a residential burglary reported on Kost Trail.  There was an assault reported about 2 p.m. same day.  

Over the week there were a few miscellaneous theft reports and one suicidal person in North Branch calls.

November 11 a theft from a car parked at the Taylors Falls Boat Launch on River Street reported. A missing credit card had already been used to buy $57 in gas at a Lindstrom station by the time the loss was reported.

November 13, a crash at Hwy. 95 in Amador Township was reported about 2 p.m.  Early details are that a Dodge truck driver, following behind a corn trailer,  decided to pass going westbound and commenced to do so.  The driver of the Chev truck pulling a corn trailer decided to turn off to the left at the same time resulting in a collision close to 14985 St. Croix Avenue.  State Patrol had not written the full report yet for press time.
