Lakes Area Police made an arrest of a 38-year-old woman after a two vehicle crash at 8495 Wyoming Trail August 26, about 10:20 p.m. Officers were called because the party was refusing to provide insurance info. No injuries were sustained.

A streetlight was damaged by a semi truck in Taylors Falls and from the camera stationed near the main downtown intersection, it appeared to be a lumber truck with a blue tarp over the load.  The incident was recorded about 2:20 p.m. August 26.

August 25 a two vehicle crash was responded to at Ivywood and Lincoln about 7 p.m.  Vehicles were towed but no serious injury reported.  One driver was required by warrant to participate in a blood draw for suspicion of DUI.

August 24 a unique “parking complaint” came into the sheriff’s office (water patrol) regarding a pontoon kept in a slip belonging to someone else. The trespassing boat owner and slip owner were both tied to the condo complex on Park Street in Lindstrom.  The deputy advised that the homeowners’ association will first need to mediate this dispute.

August 23 a couple of arrest and detain orders were executed at a large parcel in Nessel Township on Lyons St. but at first,  suspects fled, bringing in deputies for pursuit.  The incident took place around 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Alex Palmer was apprehended with help of sheriff’s K9 “Recon” and Tanner Allen (see booked) was also arrested.

August 22 the aquatic invasive species inspection site at North Center Lake access had a tote carrying materials for the program stolen.  Loss was noticed about 1 p.m.
