Lakes Area Police assisted in responding to a call of a suicidal male at a Finley Avenue address in Wyoming, Sept. 25 about 9 p.m.  A perimeter was set up around the property and the person was spoken with. No injury resulted.

Two complaints about hunting in the Chisago Lakes Area, as waterfowl season opened Sept. 24.  One caller thought the noise was fireworks and one felt the hunting was on-land at Ojiketa Regional Park, when the hunting party was found to be off-shore.

September 24 a package was reported stolen from a mailbox in Rush City.

September 23 a theft of golfing equipment from an East Viking Boulevard address reported.

A student tested positive for alcohol consumption at Chisago Lakes High School and officers released the student to parents.
Two dogs were transported to Northwoods Humane Society by Lakes Area Police over the week. No description of animals provided.

September 22 at Kwik Trip in Stacy report of an iphone 6-plus phone being stolen by unknown white, female thief.  Vehicle and inside images were recorded on surveillance cameras.

If you lost a phone in Chisago City, one was found and turned into the police headquarters in Lindstrom Sept. 22. Call police offices.

September 21 the alarm sounded at Fairview Clinic and police responded about 8:30 a.m. The situation turned out to be a system “test.”

September 19 a male came into the Wyoming Emergency Room with a gunshot wound.  The injury was accidental and the man was arrested for DUI.

Also Sept. 19 an Isanti County high speed chase came through the north end of Chisago County, culminating in Kanabec. The pursuit started about 40 minutes after midnight.  The suspect surrendered eventually.
