March 27 sheriff patrol recovered a stolen vehicle left at Rush City Holiday.

March 30 a truck fire reported about 5 a.m. at Kost Trail and #14 in Lent Township.  Stacy-Lent Fire responded and there were no injuries reported.

April 1 the Park Service reported vandalism to the Stevens Creek gated landing, on the St. Croix in the north end of the county.

The DNR burning restrictions are in effect until rainfall and green-up. A deputy cited a homeowner on Kost Trail in Sunrise for burning without a permit April 1.

Woman arrested by the county, for suspected driving under the influence (complaint called in) also apparently stole a purse while she was at Fuse in Harris. When she was apprehended for the DUI the pilfered purse was allegedly found in her car.
