The Mid Du Lac Girls Scouts from the local Chisago Lakes area did a fantastic job selling cookies this year. The girls sold cookies with the option for their customers to purchase cookies for our military serving overseas. Local troops 56332, 55207, 57426, 52925, 56329, 53747, 57664, 56850, 57661, 57662 and 57663. They sold over 1000 packages of cookies that will be spread around the world to our military. These cookies will benefit some  local Minnesota military.  The cookies will be distributed through Treats for Troops. Some of the girls also donated a variety of personal care items and reading material for the treat boxes in addition to making cards for the Troops, which are very much appreciated.

  Treats for Troops is a non-profit that focuses on sending care packages to military personnel. First priority is to send to the military from Minnesota. These cookies will be a blessing to so many individuals.  Thank you to everyone who helped support the Girl Scouts and their efforts.
