Sunday, April 16 deputy on patrol dispatched to crash at Lyons Street and Fawn Lake Drive about 3:45 a.m.  Driver not hurt and was driven by squad car to her home. Crash site was over county line in Anoka County. Vehicle was ‘totaled.’

Wednesday, April 12 Almelund Fire Department handled a fire at 375th and Oasis Road reported about 8:45 p.m.  Site of home seemed to be in midst of a remodel with debris and waste materials on the lot and some ablaze. No owner occupying at the time.

Tuesday, April 11 a manhole cover came off from an access spot on First Street in Taylors Falls and a sheriff squad was damaged about 2 a.m. (rims bent, or alignment) when driving over hole.  The cover lay a few feet away and deputy replaced it where it belonged.

Monday, April 10 a forced entry home burglary reported at downtown Taylors Falls. Appeared to have happened in daytime.  Home was ransacked, missing items being inventoried.
