Edris Ann (Miller) Schulz passed away on March 29, 2017, at the age of 82.  Edris was born to Henry S. and Minnie Miller in Hazen, ND, on December 23, 1934. She graduated from Hazen High School in 1952 and continued her education at Minot State University, where she received her teaching certificate. She taught at a country school near Hazen for one year.  On June 25, 1955, she married Waldo Schulz of Beulah, ND, where they began their life together. Later adventures moved the family to Laurel, MT, and Long Lake, MN Edris worked at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Wayzata, MN, for 20 years, and in 1998 they retired to Lindstrom, MN.

Edris was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed keeping busy by mastering the arts of hardanger, quilting, tatting, embroidery, sewing and knitting. Edris was an excellent bowler and kept her high average through her mid-70’s! She also loved to travel, bike ride, spend time with her family and many dear friends, and she was always very active in the church.

She will be deeply missed by her loving husband Waldo, sons Kevin, Kent, and Randy (Chris) Schulz; daughter Ann (Myron) Engberg; grandchildren, Jarrett Schulz, Rachel (Zach) Bolstad, Britney Schulz, Paul Schulz, Jerry Engberg, Stephanie Engberg, Garrett Engberg and Avery Engberg; great-grandson Callen Bolstad and many other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Minnie Miller; brother, Donald Miller; sister Mardel (Miller) Orseth; son, Yardley Schulz; and grandson, Kory Anderson.

A memorial service was held Wednesday, April 5, 2017, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lindstrom, MN.   Memorials preferred to National Parkinson Foundation.
