Lakes Area Police were called to help handle two attempted suicides over the week, both subjects were transported for medical care, both incidents were in Chisago City locations.  North Branch Police had one suicide call.

Over the week there were a couple of shed break-ins in the Lakes Area and a natural gas leak was handled by Xcel and authorities on 292nd in Lindstrom, reported about 9 a.m. August 20.

Lakes Area and Wyoming Police were dispatched to a complaint of an underage drinking party in the vicinity of West Comfort Lake,  about midnight August 19.  The early details are that 10 underage consumption citations were issued.

August 19 county authorities were dispatched to a two vehicle crash at Acacia Trail and Brunswick Road about 7:30 p.m.  Two subjects in a Jeep were transported by Allina. Parties in the second vehicle,  a Suburban, were picked up by private transport to be medically checked out.  

Early reports are the Jeep failed to stop at the stop sign while westbound and it was broadsided by the Suburban.

August 18 an assault at the parking lot by Lakeview Motel in Lindstrom, was reported about 10 p.m.  One victim transported for medical care. No arrest made.

North Branch Police had a busy week, with eight pages of Initial Complaint Reports provided to the press, when the usual number is more like five pages.  

Several miscellaneous thefts occurred, there were a couple of domestic calls, a couple of thefts from a vehicle, and shoplifting losses. There were also several no-pay gas drive-offs.

August 16 North Branch also received two drone complaints, around 7:45 to 8 p.m. Concerns were focused on the 38000  Henna and Branch Avenue neighborhoods.
