Laura Carlson, 10, who is a new resident of Chisago City, wrote in her essay for the Little Miss Ki Chi Saga contest how great  her new town is-- and as the icing on the cake this summer-- she was chosen to be Little Miss.  The five finalists were introduced at a program for the public, at Moberg Park Saturday, Aug. 19.  The winner of the event would ride in the parade the following day.  Runner-up was Ella Leadholm.
