Isabelle Janet (Weller) Greene, age 94 of Franconia Township, Minnesota passed away at the Osceola Christian Community Home, January 27, 2017 with family at her side.

Isabelle was born July 23, 1922 to Eugene and Emma Weller in their home at Taylors Falls, MN.  She graduated from Taylors Falls High School.  On June 11, 1942, she married Verner Bernard Greene.  They spent their 63 years of marriage together farming in Franconia Township, raising 14 children, and in 1968, running a John Deere dealership in Osceola, WI.

Isabelle is preceded in death by her parents; husband Verner; siblings Roman, Marvin, Leona (Weller) Christensen, infant sister Edna, and daughter-in-law Lenore (Wayne) Greene.

She is survived by her children: Barbara, William (Jane), Bernard P. II, Richard (Randi), Bruce (Joane), Christine (Dennis) Lien, Brian, Kathleen, Ramona (Kurt) Bear, Jerome Paul (Christine), Janice, Dorothy (Patrick) Morrissey, Carol (Robert) Stanek, and Verner Jr. (Caroline); 35 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren; and sister-in-law Francis Weller.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 4, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Taylors Falls, Minnesota.  Visitation 5-8 p.m. Friday at Grandstrand Funeral Home in Osceola, WI and one hour prior to Mass at church.  Interment at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery in Franconia Township, Minnesota.
