Julie M. Henrikson, age 74 of Chisago City, was born September 24, 1942 to Harland and Evelyn of Chisago City.  She passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on February 13, 2017.  

She attended school in Chisago.  Following school she went on to Opportunity Workshops and several other facilities, including Chisago Lakes Achievement Center.  

She is loved and will be greatly missed by her brother John (Linda) and nephews Matt (Leah) and Jeff; niece Lindsey (Chris) Reihe; great nieces Evelyn, Celia, Josie, and Vivian; great nephew Asher; and several beloved cousins.  A special thanks to RSI North Branch for their care.  Julie always had a smile and a handshake waiting to be shared.  In addition to spending time with her family, Julie enjoyed listening to Johnny Cash, Elvis and stepping out to restaurants.
 
Memorial Service 3 p.m. Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Ecumen Parmly LifePointes Chapel, 28210 Old Towne Rd., in Chisago City. Visitation one hour prior to service at Parmly.  Interment at Chisago Memorial Park in Chisago City.  Arrangements by the Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom.  Condolences may be expressed online at www.grandstrandfh. com.
