Erna S. Sanford, age 92 of St. Paul, resided in Chisago City. Born April 30, 1924,  Died February 16, 2017.  She was preceded in death by husband Donald and brother Loren Carlsen.  She is survived by daughter Sue (Bob) Collins, four grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.  Erna was proud of her Norweigan heritage, liked singing , bowling, camping, knitting, crocheting, playing the piano and she had a good wit.  

Funeral services were held  Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Chisago City.  Visitation was one hour prior to service at the church. Interment at South Green Lake Cemetery in Chisago City.  Arrangements by the Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom.  Condolences may be expressed online at www. grandstrandfh.com.
