January 7 a report to the sheriff’s personnel that a portable fish house was run into by an ATV while there were people inside... the occupants of the fish house were not hurt and one found the ATV nearby and rode it in the area looking for parties involved.  The incident happened about 8 p.m. on Little Green Lake.  There was an apology and the people were returned their ATV and left.  Authorities have registration of vehicle and ATV being hauled for follow-up but the involved fishermen did not feel the ATV operator was impaired.

A couple financial-identity theft crimes reported to Lakes Area Police and to the sheriff’s investigators over the week.

Many crashes on both county roads and I-35 were responded to by law enforcement, Jan 2-4.

Lakes Area Police are back to writing multiple overnight  street parking tickets.
