June 28, A deputy running LIDAR on the freeway clocked a vehicle northbound about midnight doing 86 mph. He activated the light and the suspect car fled doing 115 mph for approximately 10 miles, until driving over stop sticks and crashing. Sheriff’s K9 unit located the driver fleeing the crash scene and took him to Fairview in Wyoming for a blood test. He faces charges for driving under the influence.

June 29 a female injured about 7 p.m. south of Lindstrom, from a ricocheted bullet,  was transported by a private party to the U of M Hospital.  The shooting was on a private parcel and authorities did determine after investigating that the injury was accidental.

June 29 a burglary in Fish Lake Twsp. Camper, four wheeler, tools, hunting gear etc. missing.

June 27 a forced entry burglary reported at residence on River Street in Taylors Falls. No details about what was taken.
