Paul Oliver Olson, age 95, passed away on June 4, 2017 at his home, with the love of his life by his side.

Paul was born on April 24, 1922 to Peter August and Jennie Olson of Taylors Falls, Minnesota.  He married Marilyn Stenberg on July 1, 1944, and together they raised three children.  This July would be their 73rd wedding anniversary.

Paul spent his entire life on the homestead where he grew up.  He made farming his life’s work  and was a very progressive farmer.  He enjoyed reading, traveling and loved spending time with his family.  

Paul is survived by his wife Marilyn; daughter Julie (Jim) Anderson; son Gary (Maggie) Olson; grandchildren Chris, Chad, Jordan, Jennie, Josh, Britt, and Debi; 15 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers Walter, Henry, Carl, Irving, and Robert; sister Esther; son Brian, and infant daughter.

Memorial Service 11 a.m. Saturday, June 10, 2017 at First Lutheran Church in Taylors Falls, Minnesota with visitation one hour prior to the service at church.  Interment at Kahbakong Cemetery in Taylors Falls.  Arrangements by Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom, Minnesota.  Condolences may be expressed online at www.grand strandfh.com
