Powerlines were down June 5 on Berglund Avenue reported about 1:30 a.m. Xcel was notified.
Contractor working on I-35 advised a break-in to a company trailer and multiple items missing. Trailer damage also part of complaint.
June 6 a crash on Hwy. 8 at Pleasant Valley Road, at about 4:30 p.m. Sheriff’s deputies took over traffic control, state patrol had no details available.
Theft of rods from boat in Rush City. Six rods and left-handed reels missing.
Minor damage reported to guardrail at city lot behind Adium gas station in Taylors Falls, about 7:30 a.m. Vehicle also affected.
June 8 mower allegedly solen from truck bed at Lent Twsp. Toro is valued at $350.
June 9 an employee caught the fingers of one hand in a dough-rolling machine and serious injury resulted. Lakes Area Police were alerted about 3 p.m. and awaited medical response, attending to the victim.
Saturday, June 10 Lakes Area officers advised about 2:40 p.m. to be on the watch for a vehicle that was allegedly being driven through the Chisago Lakes area by a stabbing victim, from Osceola, WI, reportedly seriously hurt. Vehicle was not located.
A party was receiving CPR at the Chisago Lakes High School reported about 10:25 a.m. Medics and Lakes Area officers handled the incident.
Over the week Lakes Area was called to remove a snapping turtle in someone’s yard, dispatch a wounded deer on the highway and see about a bird stuck in a storm drain in Chisago City.
