A deputy and ambulance went to the call and gave aid-- reportedly transporting a youth to the Twin Cities. The preliminary details are that boaters out on the water saw a jet ski going in circles and brought an individual off the unit onto their boat and towed the personal watercraft to near Flickabirds, where authorities had been dispatched to.
Gregory Contracting reported theft of equipment and tools. Lock on construction trailers cut.
June 16 there was a vehicle fire reported at 3:30 p.m. and was extinguished by owner with extinguisher. Stacy-Lent firefighters also checked the vehicle to make sure it was out.
Porta Potty set on fire off Furuby Road outside of Taylors Falls, reported about 11 p.m. Taylors Falls firefighters responded.
June 15 local man, who parked a rental skidsteer at Rush City Holiday and left it, was arrested for warrants. The company seeking the Kubota equipment got it back.
Tree fell on 512th and Acacia Trail, reported about 7:30 p.m. County Highway crew handled.
A large amount of old tarps, siding and other waste was dumped in a roll-off in use at a site in Sunrise Township. Reported about 9:30 a.,m. June 15.
June 12 a theft via Craigslist on-line car deal. The complainant said the check for $30,000 plus for the vehicle went into the bank and appeared good, but the money was “reversed” days later, after the vehicle had been picked up. Jeep was located in Chicago and authorities there advised to impound the vehcile so owner up here can retrieve.
