She was preceded in death by her husband Ellsworth of 50 years and son Arden.
She is survived by sons Kevin (Cheri) Peterson and Norman Peterson; grandchildren Tamara, Angela, Kyle (Sieglinde), Troy, Chad (Angela), Aaron (Kelly Sherburne), Nicole Mitchell (Phil), Bonnie, Becky, Christopher (Lesley) and 18 grandchildren.
Frances was born in Shell Lake, Wisconsin on November 18, 1924 and moved to Chisago City in 1946. She was active in the Zion Lutheran faith community, loved cooking, knitting, crocheting and, most of all, was devoted to her family members and longtime friends.
Funeral services were 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Chisago City. Visitation one hour prior to service at the church.
Interment at Chisago Memorial Park in Chisago City. Arrangements by the Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom. Condolences may be expressed online at www.grandstrandfh.com
