A trip to Mexico was a breeze; you are all invited to 'Caring for Creation' March 27
It was easily the best trip our family has ever taken. We spent every minute with each other either at the beach or at the pool. The time I was able to spend with the family is unexplainable. Even when we are sitting together and not speaking, it was just a time to connect. It could have been a vacation to Iowa, the location really didn’t matter, this time it was about family.
Oh - and if you’re wondering how difficult it was to cross the border? Entering into Mexico took all of four minutes. Leaving Mexico took even less time.
We are almost done compiling our Community and Visitor Guide. If you have a business that you think the public would love to utilize, this is your chance to get your name out there. It is the best buy for your dollar in regards to advertising. Call us here at the Press or email us at [email protected] and we will help you increase your sales and visibility. Our phone number is 651-257-5115. Call soon.
This Monday, March 27, everyone is invited to th PAC center at the Chisago Lakes High School. There is something really cool taking place that I think we all will really enjoy being part of. It is a Community Conversation on Climate Change and Stewardship.
Paul Douglas, who many of us remember from Kare 11 as a meteorologist has written a wonderful book with Mitch Hescox about climate change called “Caring for Creation”.
The two will discuss their book and hold a question and answer session about our climate.
In this free evening conversation, you’ll learn:
- Why Christians should lead the charge for caring for God’s creation.
- How climate change goes beyond politics and affects the health, economy, and stability of future generations.
- Tips to help your family and those around you care for the earth.
The session begins at 7 p.m. I hope to see you there!
