Authorities tried to detain the female suspect and she allegedly stomped on one officer’s foot while handcuffs were being applied. The parking lot incident is reportedly caught on video. Assault and property damage charges are pending.
May 3 a shed in Rush Point Drive and Arbor Avenue West area was broken into and a commercial style miter saw, outboard motor and copper material are missing. It appeared somebody tried to push the boat off of a trailer and were unsuccessful in stealing just the trailer.
May 4 a brush fire reported at Sunrise Township on 375th about 8 p.m. Deputy reports it was attended to by property owner and materials all seemed to be proper for burning.
May 6 a single motorcycle crash at Olympic Trail and 280th reported about 7:50 p.m. Operator was brought in on suspicion of DUI after a blood sample was taken by warrant. Also-- theft from vehicles (truck and trailer) reported on St Croix Trail...missing items include generator.
May 7 a theft from vehicle parked at Sunrise Ferry Landing on St. Croix. GPS unit, debit card (used a short time later in North Branch) taken.
