North Branch students of all ages went out in the community for “Community Service Day” Friday, May 19. Some students were transported to sites by bus and others stuck close to the school grounds. They washed windows at the library and city hall, picked up litter on the roadsides, painted garbage enclosures at public locations, they entertained residents at Ecumen, did chores appointed by public works, and a host of other tasks. This is an annual event for the school district. Pictured is the team painting the waste can enclosure at the fire hall.
