Charlotte was born on July 6, 1975 in Forest Lake to parents Roger and Marlene (Auchampach) Spencer. She attended school in Chisago Lakes and graduated in 1993. Charlotte married Todd Hollander in Jamaica on April 22, 2005. Char worked for Werner Electric before taking a job as a flight attendant with Compass Airlines. She truly loved the last eight years working her job at Compass. Char loved traveling, cooking, gardening, painting and quilting.
Charlotte is survived by her husband, Todd, son, Shane Tristan, father, Roger Spencer of Center City, sisters, Lisa Mae (Jeff) Shaleen of Lindstrom and Christine Mae (Brian) Smith of Scandia; brothers, Scott Wayne Spencer of North Branch and Jason (Laciemae) Spencer of Rush City; nieces and nephews, Andy and Alex Shaleen, Cole and Sara Smith, Margene and Henry Spencer as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. Charlotte is preceded in death by her mother, Marlene in 2008.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 2, 2017 at St. Bridget of Sweden Catholic Church in Lindstrom. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 1st from 5-8 p.m. at the Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom and also one hour prior to mass at church on Friday. Interment will follow at the service Franconia Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family that will be setting up a college fund for Shane.
