Dorothy Lee Frenning

Lived April 11 1938-October 23, 2017, formerly of Stacy, MN. She grew up ice skating in St. Paul’s Hazel Park and roller skated for six decades. Worked for the Armory and 3M as a machine operator.
Called “Dottie” by her loving husband of 57 years, Don Frenning, who preceded her in death by seven weeks. “What a pair” has been uttered in exasperation and in delight at their antics together.  They RV’d across the USA and “peed in every state.” Dottie beautifully carved and played wooden spoons, jammed with musicians for a few years while living in Pharr, Texas, and played with local bands after returning to Minnesota.

Survived by sister Kathy Affolter, Macon, GA, sister-in- law Helen A. Bellin, formerly of Fairmont, MN, caring nieces and nephews, and life long friends.

Graveside service Sunday, Oct. 29, 12 PM for family and close friends, Stacy Cemetery. Memorials to St. John’s Lutheran Church ‘Tree of Life’ or to Lewy Body Research at www.lbda.org
