The vintage soda advertisement that has overlooked the North Branch business district for decades got a facelift as part of a project through the city’s Beautification Committee. Artist Tony Stafki, www.WallArtByTony.com was chosen to do the honors. He tells the Press he’s been doing this for about 10 years. He specializes in mural art, restoration of public artworks and faux finishes in residential and business applications Stafki added, “I am very thankful I was selected by the North Branch Beautification Association to restore this North Branch heirloom. Without their drive and vision this project would not have happened. To be able to add my name to the list of talented artists who have kept this mural alive for so many years is very humbling.”
