Mark W. Kringle, of Forest Lake, Minnesota passed away suddenly October 20, 2017 at the age of 66.  He was born and raised near Barron, Wisconsin and has lived in the Chisago City/Forest Lake area for the past 40 years.  He worked for 20 plus years for Johnson Well Drilling and then for Keys Well Drilling until retirement.  He also served many years as a volunteer firefighter for Chisago City, Minnesota.  He was an avid hunter and enjoyed spending time outdoors.  He had a passion for fast cars, an enthusiasm for the Packers and lighthearted tolerance of the Vikings, and he thoroughly appreciated good food.

He is preceded in death by his parents Dewey Kringle and Lorraine (nee Huset) Nielsen and son Mark W. Kringle II.  Mark is survived by his children Angela (Chris) Johnson, Jody (Charity) Kringle, and Nathan (Laura) Kringle; nine grandchildren Bailey, Aubrey, Landon, Lauren, Evan, Adrianna, Sammy, Nick, and Skylar; sisters Debra Benford and Sue (Dean) Hanson; step-father John Nielsen, and many other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held 3–6 p.m. Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom.  A private family interment will be held at a later date.  Condolences may be expressed online at www.grandstrandfh.com
