Virginia was born on August 12, 1943 in St. Paul, Nebraska to parents, Dallas and Elnora (Boll) Rohman. She attended schools in St. Paul, Nebraska. Virginia married Robert Moraczewksi on July 26, 1960 at her family’s home in St. Paul, Nebraska. Virginia attended the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota where she received her Bachelors of Art Degree with honors. She worked as the Art History Department Librarian at the University of St. Thomas for 10 years. Ginger was a master quilter, china painter, world traveler, loved reading and spending time with her family at their cabin near Remer. She was a member of the Forest Lake Memorial Quilters Club and the FarmAmerica Organization.
Virginia is survived by her husband Robert of Chisago City; children, Mark (Mary) Moraczewski of Cold Spring, Matt (Laura) Moraczewski of Hugo, Monika (Francis) Audette of Rice Lake, WI and Mike (Mary) Moraczewski of Maple Grove; her grandchildren, Andy (Olivia) and Katie Moraczewski, Andre (Katelyn), Jacques and Auriana Audette, Anna and Leo Moraczewski, Joe and Sarah Moraczewski; her great grandchild Linus Audette; sisters, Joyce Helsley, of Ephrata, WA and Janet Hruza of St. Paul, NE. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Memorials may be directed to the North Branch Family Pathways Food Pantry or the Memorial Quilters Club.
Memorial services 1p.m. Friday, September 8, 2017 at Grandstrand Funeral Home in North Branch with Fr. Dave Kohner officiating. Visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, Friday. Family interment will take place at a later date.
