John D. Swenson, a lifelong resident of Lindstrom, died on April 19, 2018 at  Fairview University Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota, at the age of 73.

John was born on March 4, 1945 to parents Elmer and Olive Swenson.  He is preceded in death by his parents Elmer and Olive, brothers Robert Swenson, Donald Swenson and Richard Swenson, and his sister Joyce Sederstrom.

John is survived by his sister Peggy Lou (Chuck) Bergquist; brother James Swenson; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service 11 a.m. Thursday, April 26. 2018 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lindstrom with visitation one hour prior to the service at church.
