Tree fire started on Stinson in Chisago City about 8 p.m. when a permit burn got away from property owner.
April 20 deputies attempted to halt a vehicle exiting Holiday, in Rush City, about 2:30 a.m. and the driver led authorities on a pursuit south to past Harris, at Falcon Avenue and the intersection with 425th, where the driver stopped the vehicle, got out and ran. Deputies detained the passenger while a search was launched for the fleeing suspect, who was later apprehended and transported to jail.
Lakes Area Police officers recovered a stolen vehicle about 3 a.m. after a traffic stop on Lake Lane, Lindstrom.
A fully engulfed car fire reported at address on south Olinda Trail, beyond the Lindstrom city boundary reported a little after midnight. Residence nearby had front door kicked in and house had been gone through. Sheriff’s deputies have the case. No injury reported.
April 19 minor injuries resulted when a utility vehicle driven by a Rosenbauer employee was exiting the parking lot and ran into a passenger SUV Durango on 260th Street (Fallbrook) in the Wyoming Industrial Park. Incident reported about 1:30 p.m. The Kubota operator suffered a laceration on his head and one passenger in the Durango was seen by an ambulance crew.
April 17 a camera was turned into Lakes Area Police. Describe to claim.
A party at a residence on First Avenue in Lindstrom called about 20 minutes after noon, and asked for a Lakes Area officer, because they’d had too much to drink. Ambulance transport was arranged after a portable test of alcohol content.
April 16 a number of 20-pound propane tanks were reported stolen from Dollar General Store, Stacy. Loss alleged to have happened between 9:30 p.m. and 6 a.m. Lock securing the tanks was cut.
