Waldo "Bud" Nelson, age 82, of Lindstrom, MN passed away suddenly on August 3, 2018, at the Meadows on Fairview, in Wyoming, Minnesota.

Bud was born on July 25, 1936 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Waldo O. and Marion (Swanson) Nelson. He was united in marriage to Alice Skovran on June 6, 1959.

Bud will be greatly missed by his wife Alice; children, Cheryl Underwood, Sandra (Daniel) Sandager, Theresa (Jeffrey) Moris, Paul (Kimberly) Nelson and Mark Nelson; grandchildren, Mike (Patty), Amy, Tara, Kelly, Chad, Eric (Hannah), David, Sean (Emily), Kevin, Shannon, Adam, Anna; great-grandson Linter; sister Charlotte (David) Twombly, sister Carolyn (Arthur) Roy; brother Robert (Jule) Nelson; nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Bud is preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held August 13, 11 a.m. at Elim Lutheran Church in Scandia, Minnesota with visitation one hour prior to the service.  Memorials preferred to Elim Lutheran Church.
