December 1 there was a crash at #30 and County Road 19, that sent a few people to be checked out for injuries.  One driver cited for careless driving for weather conditions, which were whiteout and icy that day.  There were many reports-- in the southern third of the county basically--- of cars off roadways, hitting trees and sliding into ditches but no serious injury reported.

Lakes Area Police took a report of a person bitten by a cat, on their front step, on Terryll Street, Lindstrom.  Unknown where the cat went.

November 30 Lakes Area Police were called to an attempted forced entry of a residence on Jasmine Drive.  Does not appear burglar actually took place.
The sheriff’s patrol squads also were involved in looking into burglary attempt and vehicle tampering in area north of Chisago City.

A sheriff squad hit a deer near #30 and 480th Street. No injury to personnel, car was damaged though.

November 29 several reports of suicidal persons in the Lakes Area service territory. One call resulted in a 72-hour hold to observe the person.

November 27 a deputy ticketed a man for transporting a full deer carcass across state lines. The truck carrying the deer was parked in Taylors Falls but had brought the deer over from Wisconsin, and a complaint alerted law enforcement.  It is not legal to transport whole deer bodies into Minnesota.

November 26 a report of theft of laundry from Center City laundromat. There was a custom Vikings jersey, with the owner’s name on back,  in the wash items which the owner wanted on the official report.

A total of three electronic cigarette possession violations at Chisago Lakes Middle School, students were ticketed over the week.
