Delmer A. Law, age 84 of Chisago City, Minnesota, passed away on February 4, 2018.  Del was born in Bridgewater Township in Rice County, Minnesota on December 26, 1933 to parents Edwin and Dora Law.  He was a machinist at the Ford Plant for 36 years until his retirement and then took up farming in Mora, Minnesota.  Farming was his passion, he ran a 240 acre farm with cattle.  He traveled extensively out west and really enjoyed the mountains.  He also loved spending time with his friends at the casino black jack tables.

He is preceded in death by his son Edwin A. Law; parents Edwin and Dora Law; sister Dena Brownlee; and brother Walter Law.

Delmer is survived by his children Connie (Steven) Glenna; Dean (Gayle) Law; Suzanne (Kevin) Glenna and Glenn (Jackie) Law; grandchildren Jacob Gattenby, Michael Gattenby, Justine (Erik) Revier, Amy (Nate) Retzlaff, Lisa (Jesse Mischler) Law, Michelle (Steven) Neidermire, Brittany (Ben Anderson) Law, Joshua (Sara) Fox, Allison (Matt) Benson, Whittney (Bryan) Bennett, Shane Strobel, Nicholas Glenna, Jaime (Justin) Torgerson, Ashley (Casey) Travis, and Bobbie Sue Law; 14 great grandchildren; sister Linda (Jay) Albright; brother John (Connie) Law; and many other relatives and friends.

Memorial Service 11a.m. Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom, Minnesota with visitation one hour prior to the service.  A private family interment will be held at a later date.   In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to donor’s choice.  Condolences may be expressed online at www.grandstrandfh.com
