Gerald Ledin
Gerald was born on April 21, 1928 in Lindstrom to parents, Glen and Laura (Storm) Ledin. He attended Lindstrom schools graduating in 1946. Gerald enlisted in the U.S. Army and served for two years. He married Love Etta Anderson on July 4, 1956 at Kost Church. Gerald worked at the Twin City Arsenal in various positions before assuming the security duty which he held for many years. He loved antiques, cooking and spending time with his family. He was a longtime member of Kost Church where he was very active and served on several boards.
Gerald is survived by his wife Love Etta, son Jon (JoLynn) Ledin of Brooklyn Park; sister Carol (Delano) Johnson of Taylors Falls; grandchildren, Eric (Meghan) Ledin, Alyssa (Brad) Dockter, Alex Ledin and Austin Ledin; great grandchildren, Declan, Mabel and Torrah; his sisters-in-law, Sue Ledin of Osceola, WI and Beverly Johnson of Maplewood.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Laura, brother, Wayne and sister, Faye Bredenberg.
Memorial services at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 27,, 2018 at Kost Church with Pastor Josh Jensen officiating. Music by Pam Theline. Visitation one hour prior to the service at church on Saturday.
Interment in the church cemetery with military honors provided by the North Branch American Legion and VFW Posts.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Kost Church.
