Growing up in White Bear Lake he enjoyed soccer, hockey, fishing, and hunting with family and friends. He graduated from White Bear Lake High School in 1984 and continued on to Lakewood Community College graduating with an Associate’s Degree. Ron was a renowned chef and worked for many restaurants throughout the Twin Cities area. He continued in food service as a salesman in the meat industry for over 16 years.
Through working at the White Bear Yacht Club, he met Barbara Jean (Zerwas), whom he married on September 18, 1993. Ron and Barb had four beautiful children they raised in North Branch; Alex, Hanna, Logan, and Landon. Ron taught many valuable life lessons to his children including cooking, fishing, hunting, skating, skiing, and loving. He was well known in the community as an amazing coach. For 13 years he taught pre-K through 4th grade soccer, and mites through squirts hockey.
Ronald is survived by Barbara, his daughter Hanna (Jared), sons Alex (Laura), Logan, Landon; mother Dorothy, sisters Teresa (Mike) Dippel, Bonnie (Steve) Feidt, and Amy Miller (Dave); grandchildren Paisley and Hunter and many beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Ronald is preceded in death by his father, Dennis Miller.
