Lucille was born on December 5, 1921 in Frost, Minnesota to parents John and Anna (Olson) Thompson. Lucille enjoyed her time sewing, dancing and traveling as well as playing cards with family and friends and spending time in Arizona.
Lucille is survived by her daughter Joan (Jim) Rodberg; son Steven (Mar) Hylbak; step children Sandy (Tom) Cordie, Debbie (Mark) Urista and Keith (Jennifer) Severson; her many grandchildren and great grandchildren and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her husbands Leo Hylbak and Donald Severson; three sisters, Della, Ruth and Opal and three brothers, Arnie, Sig and Darrell.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lindstrom with Rev. Terry Nordheim officiating. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at church Saturday, June 16.
Interment will take place at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 19 at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery, in Minneapolis.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Comforts of Home in St. Croix Falls for all their loving care and companionship.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association the American Cancer Society or the donor’s choice.
