Kevin was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife, Jody; two sons, Dale and Daniel; three brothers, Bruce (Lyla), Ronald (Pattie West), and Richard (Jori); brother-in-law, Dennis (Sandi) Nelson; sister-in-law, Jill (Mike) Boltin; nieces and nephews, Jeffrey (Amber), Spencer (Annie), Brianna (Joe), Ashley, Christopher, Natalie, Danielle (Jon), Ray (Shannon), David, Kevin and many other devoted relatives and friends who loved him dearly.
Kevin was first and foremost a follower of Jesus, he lived his entire life that way. He loved Jody, Dale and Daniel with all his heart. He loved his family and his Church family dearly. He was talented in so many ways and he would help anyone with anything. He cared deeply for his work, the people that worked for him and the companies and people they served. He was the owner and founder of Lovdal Electronics for more than 30 years.
He loved canoeing the Boundary Waters, camping, boating, carpentry, crocheting blankets with his one hand and his right foot, but most of all fishing. He loved showing off his new “bionic” hand and now he is showing off his new perfect hand. He lived life to the fullest and found joy in all things.
A Celebration of Life Service was Monday, March 19, 2018, at Lakes Free Church in Lindstrom. Visitation was at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred. Grandstrand Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
