License plate theft reported from vehicle parked at Moberg Park, in Chisago City.
March 21 Lindstrom Fire and Lakes Area responded to house fire at Norelius Lane, called in about 10:40 p.m. Firefighters extinguished.
A workplace accident reported about 9 a.m. at Forterra Pipe on County Road 30 in Stacy. The worker was transported to Regions Medical Center in St. Paul, after a 4,000 pound concrete block that employees were lifting by chain attached to a fork truck, hit the worker in the leg and back.
Also March 21 a fight was reported at Smitty’s Bar, Chisago City about 11 p.m. Deputies assisted Lakes Area Police in detaining suspects and cleared quickly.
Vehicle fire in the north end of the county, outside of Harris, on Galaxy Avenue, reported about 7 a.m. Deputy said it appeared to be intentional. Registered owner resides in Pine County.
March 24 theft of two trailers from location on Lake Lane, Lindstrom.
A domestic assault at North Avenue address in Chisago City resulted in arrest and 72-hour hold of male, who reportedly resisted arrest.
A dog bite incident was reported at an address on Center Point Drive, Chisago City. Authorities are assessing the situation, no details on victim.
March 25 a purse was found on Highway 8 in Chisago City. Call LAPD offices to describe if you may be owner.
Stacy-Lent Fire Dept. was dispatched to a structure fire about 9 p.m. The pole shed on Innsbruck Avenue was fully engulfed. Owners advised deputies the shed housed fowl (guinea hens and quail.) Firefighters with Chisago City and Wyoming also assisted.
Lakes Area officers monitored morning traffic as the bandshell-park shelter was moved from Moberg Park to Chuckie Lundquist Park, about a block east. The structure was too close to the staging area for Old Towne Road reconstruction, in downtown this summer. Moberg Park is being re-freshed too.
