Eleanor (better known as Tootsie) Knaack was born March 18, 1937 to William and Mildred (Nelson) Wallenberg. She attended Wyoming grade school and Chisago City High School. Through the years she worked as a grocery clerk and then a nanny. She married Sheldon L. Knaack, August 1965. In September of that year, her mother passed away, and because her father passed away five years prior, she became guardian to her three youngest siblings. A son, William, was born to her and Sheldon, February 1967. She took pride in keeping a beautiful home and cared deeply for her family.

Eleanor is preceded in death by her parents, William and Mildred Wallenberg and husband, Sheldon L. Knaack. Left to mourn her is her son William; grandchildren, Trevor and Whitney of North Branch, MN; sisters, Sharon (John) Bryse of North St. Paul, MN, Linda (Roger) Omdahl of Forest Lake, MN, Kathleen Coulombe of Prairie Farm, WI and Patricia (Richard) Snell of St. Croix Falls, WI, along with nieces and nephews who will sincerely miss Auntie Tootsie.
