Backpack with distinctive under-armour logo and victory racing insignia stolen from vehicle, with items inside, from an address  on 438th Street rural Harris.

April 25
Backpack and wallet fund near Akerson St. in Lindstrom. Contact police department at 257-0622 to describe contents to claim.

A black Lab dog with no tags but wearing a collar was detained by Lakes Area Police as a stray. Found near Terryll Avenue in Lindstrom.

A motor scooter hidden by twigs and branches in a park in Chisago City was reported. Police learned it was reported stolen, owner being notified.

April 28
The fire warden for Sunrise Township area issued himself a burn permit to do a running ditch  burn and the fire got away from him, causing the corn field adjacent to catch on fire.  Rush City Fire Department responded.  Incident reported about 7 p.m.

Small fire by pond at Town & Country Park put out quickly by Lindstrom Fire when notified by neighbor.  Two girls sought as suspects for starting fire.

Also a resident having a fire was cited for no permit at Elk Lane in Lent Township, about 3 p.m.
