Ricky Gene Carlson, age 60 of Chisago City, Minnesota passed peacefully surrounded by family on April 29, 2018. He is preceded in death by his parents Marlene and Willard (Smitty) Smith, Eugene Carlson and grandparents Luella and Edgar Johnson, Herbert and Hazel Carlson.

Rick is survived by wife, Bonita Carlson; children Bonnie Racho, Jake (Jen) Carlson, Jon (Sarah) Carlson, Cassie Bentrud, Christina (Mark) Towle, Nate (Kelli) Carlson, Allie Bentrud, Elise (Cory) Przybilla, Alex (Ashley) Kirchgatter-Carlson; grandchildren, Rosa (Jake) Peterson, Isabella, Annabelle, Landen, Brianna, Brooklyn, Clara, Tony, Hadley, Michael, Lexxis, Abby, Journee, Joey, Aubree, Raylan; great grandchild Leo Peterson; brother Ron (Tina) Carlson, sisters, Debbie Greenhow and Lori (Jason) Bjork; many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Rick’s life will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Maranatha Assembly of God, 24799 Forest Blvd. N. in Forest Lake, Minnesota with visitation prior to the service from 12-2 p.m.  Arrangements by Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom, Minnesota.
