Scott was born in Franconia Township, MN, on September 16, 1945, to Howard and Margaret (Eineke) Wing. He attended high school in Lindstrom, MN continuing his higher education at St. Cloud State University. Scott worked as food director for Aramark Food Services. His job brought him around the United States and relocated him to his last work position in New York.
In 2006, Scott returned to Osceola to care for his ailing father, until Howard’s death in 2008. Scott touched the lives of his coworkers as well as his many customers, while working at the BP in Osceola with his smile and positive words.
Scott enjoyed fine wine, good food, talking with friends, music and reading.
Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Margaret; and a brother, Mark. He will be deeply missed by friend, Vernon Wilson of New Jersey; extended relatives in Rush City; his “faux” family, Rita, Clayton, RJ, Emily, Elvis, Roman, Victor, Diego, Gabe, Zeke, and Hope, along with multiple other friends.
