Tim is survived by his loving wife Amy (Simmons) and his children Cody, Paige and Colten; parents, Charles and Peggy Bergquist; sister, Brenda (Kyle) Swanson, nieces Savannah and Kassity; mother and father-in law, Thomas and Marjorie Simmons; brother-in law, Michael (Jessica) Simmons, nieces Ashlyn and Kensey; brother-in law, Darren Simmons (Andrea Saunders), niece Madison and nephew Rilee; sister-in law, Dena (Lance) LaValle, nephews Bryce and Austin and many more relatives and friends.
Tim is preceded in death by nephew Landen T. LaValle.
Tim was a 1986 graduate of Chisago Lakes High School and an employee of the State of Minnesota-Department of Natural Resources since 2008. Tim was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his family. Tim and Amy recently celebrated their 20 year anniversary. He was an amazing dad and enjoyed nothing more than watching his kids play their favorite sports, spending time with them in the ice shack or going out hunting together.
A funeral service in memory of Tim will be held on Friday, May 11 at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lindstrom, MN; visitation one hour prior. A visitation and celebration of life will be (today) Thursday, May 10 at 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom, MN.
Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers.
