A two vehicle crash at Morgan and Chisago Boulevard, south of Lindstrom, reported about 5:50 p.m. The cars were towed, but no serious injury reported. One car was northbound and stopped and crossed and was hit by a car going west on Chisago Blvd. with no stop sign.
Shafer Laundromat change machine broken into.
October 27
Dog bite incident reported at an address on Nelson Court, Center City. Deputy was unable to connect with dog owner immediately. Victim was walking on street.
Deputies went to address on Summit in downtown Center City on a domestic call where a woman was believed to be threatened about 9 a.m. A male was arrested when he exited the apartment.
Two males left the scene of a crash at Lake Lane and Shoquist in Chisago City, where electrical equipment and fencing were damaged. There was an arrest of a 43-year-old male, for no license and suspected DUI. Incident reported about 9:30 p.m.
October 26
Lone man in a car swerved off the road and hit a power pole at the Chisago Lake Lutheran Church in Center City, reported about 7:50 p.m. The witness said the driver went off the road for no apparent reason. Xcel was sent to do repairs. Driver was transported to medical facility.
An address on Maple Street in Lindstrom reported a fuel leak from a vehicle parked in the garage and Lindstrom Fire assisted at the scene. The car was pushed out and towed away. Incident called in about 10 a.m.
October 24 Sheriff’s K9 unit was called out to locate a suspect who had fled the scene of a rolled, incapacitated car, at Hwy. 8 and Pleasant Valley Road, Center City. Vehicle was discovered and reported about 9:15 p.m. Female driver was taken in after sheriff’s K9 dog unit located her in a field.
October 23 the Chisago Lakes School bus barn in Lindstrom had an odor of natural gas, so Xcel and fire department were sent. Xcel gave all clear about 7 a.m.
