He enjoyed every aspect of the North Shore, whether it be hiking and exploring the woods and shoreline around Grand Marais or snowshoeing in the Superior National Forest He was always on the lookout for a moose! Grand Marais was his favorite destination no matter the season or weather. He enjoyed sipping Java Moose coffee and sitting on the beach, making frequent visits to the Lake Superior Trading Post (usually his first stop when arriving in town), and staying at his favorite little cabin on the Croftville Road. David also loved visiting his two brothers-in-law in San Francisco, enjoying walks along the ocean and time with family.
