Due to windy, dry fall conditions in Chisago County, burn permits are needed if you plan on having a fire pit bigger than three feet in diameter or if you will create flames taller than three feet.  Those of you burning fall clean-up debris should be following local burn guidelines for your area and burning loose leaves is highly discouraged right now.  If the fire is going to be large-- secure a permit first.
