Jamie had several accidents, ultimately resulting in an amputation and becoming wheelchair bound. After several years of medical challenges, he had a remaining surgery and was looking forward to re-engaging in his independent life. The past few months, even though he was in the hospital, he was reconnected with friends and making future plans.
Jamie loved family, friends, music, and his animals.
Jamie passed away peacefully in his sleep Tuesday, September 4, 2018, with hope in his heart.
He is survived by his beloved grandparents, Orval and Edna Curry, his mother Jacki Curry; his father Jon Winter, along with aunts, uncles, and cousins. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, September 15 at Taylors Falls Lutheran Church on Chestnut St. There will be a burial in Butterfield, MN at The Curry Family Cemetery and a future Celebration of Life.
